Come bet

In the case of the come bet game, the player can also enter in the middle of the game. This bet is very similar to the pass line bet, but here the player does not place his bet before the game, but in the middle of the game. In this bet, the next roll of the dice has the character of the come out roll.

So if the player places a come bet in the middle of the game, he loses if the shooter rolls a 2, 3 or 12 on the next roll. In the case of the roll of a 6 or 8, the shooter wins. Otherwise, the roll determines an individual point for the player. This point has nothing to do with the starting point that was set at the beginning of the game. In case of hitting the point in the further throws the player wins. In the case of throw 7, the player loses.

Don't Come Bet

This bet is the exact opposite of the come bet. Here the player wins if a two or three is rolled on the first roll of the dice after the bet, and loses if a seven or an eleven is rolled. If a seven is rolled on the first roll of the dice, the player wins - if the point is hit, the player loses.

For both come and don't come bets, the house edge is 1.41 %.

Field bet

The field bet is placed on the field in the upper middle area. It applies to the next roll of the dice in the game and is associated with odds on the outcome of the roll. For example, the Field bet wins if the next roll of the dice is 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11 or 12. The odds are 1:1 for numbers 3, 4, 9, 10 or 11 and usually higher for numbers 2 or 12.

The player loses the game if the next roll is 5, 6, 7 or 8.

6th or 8th place

According to this bet, players bet that the next dice roll will be 6 or 8. Nevertheless, players should note that the house advantage in this betting option is very small.

Aces/2

According to the Aces/2 betting option, players bet that the dice will be rolled on 2. Since the probability is very low, the payout in this case is very high. The payout is 30:1.

Goods wagon/12

The Boxcars/12 betting option works on the same principle as Aces/12, but here the target number is 12. Again, the payout is 30:1.

Every 7

In this betting option, the payout is 5:1. Players bet on getting the number 7 on the next roll. For any other number, the players lose.

Successful strategies for craps

The term "craps strategies" always seems to indicate that the player can specifically influence the course of the game. Unlike in poker, for example, this is not possible in craps. Because here everything is really fixed down to the smallest detail - and how the dice fall cannot be influenced. On the other hand, the player has the opportunity to minimise the risk of loss with a good betting strategy.

Three well-known craps strategies are mentioned below.

The strategy of the "right way

According to the "Right Way" strategy, players must place their bets on the Pass Line or Come Bet. This strategy assumes that the players have great chances of winning according to this method, as these two bets have the highest probabilities. The house advantage is very low here.

The "wrong way" strategy

Obviously, the "Wrong Way" strategy is the reverse version of the "Right Way" strategy. Here the player must use the betting options "Don't Pass" and/or "Don't Come". The probability here is somewhat lower than in the "Right Way" strategy. The house advantage is also not as high.

The 5 Count Method

The 5-count method is for those players who consider themselves lucky enough. When betting according to the 5-count method, the player will rarely get into adrenaline-charged gaming situations - here it is all about keeping a cool head and only betting when the shooter promises a chance of winning.

To place a bet here, 5 points must have been awarded. The 1st point is awarded if the shooter rolls a point of 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10. For all other numbers, the counter remains at zero.

When the matching point has been set, each subsequent roll of the dice without ending the game scores one point until four counts have been reached.

When the number 4 is reached, the shooter must roll the point (4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10) to add the fifth point. If the shooter needs more than one roll to add the fifth point, this is not too bad. The score simply stops. However, if the shooter rolls a 7, the count starts again.

Only when a shooter has "earned" all 5 points is a bet placed in this strategy. It is best to stick to the RIGHT way strategy. It is also always a good idea to bet as many odds as possible, as this minimises the house advantage.

Waiver of risk bets

It's not quite a strategy - but it makes sense. The 6th or 8th place, Aces/2, Boxcars/12 and Any 7 bets sometimes have tempting odds - but rarely result in wins. For this reason, players who want to leave the casino with a profit at the end of the day are best served by these bets.

Score with the field bet

In the event that the player does not want to miss the thrill of a bet that is decided by a throw of the dice, he should bet on the field bet. Here the probability of winning is much higher than with the betting options mentioned above.

Where can you play craps?

The game of craps is older than the field of online casinos. Yet it is perfectly integrated into the world of virtual gambling. Craps embodies the idea of playing dice on screens. The rules of the game are very easy for players to understand. The specialists have created a list of the top 5 casinos where players can enjoy craps online.
